Attack The Block

Just paid like £7.40 to watch a film I've been hyping over for the good part of a month, after the first 10 minutes I slowly start to sink into my seat and realise this film isn't what I thought it would be. But there may still be hope, after getting through a weak and unbelievable start, the movie and story begins to open up and I climb up right into my seat.

Being a British comedy I had certain expectations of it trying to live up and contend with the likes of Shaun of the Dead, but thankfully Attack the block doesn't pucnh above its weight trying to be a film its not. The film knows its staring actors that nobody knows, it knows it hasn't got the solid plot line it should have. but strangely, it works.

With the odd hit and miss with jokes(most of them can be found in the trailer btw), Attack the Block is well worth a watch if your looking for a film that doesn't take itself too seriously and still is decent enough to spend money on.

Peace out!
